WaterJet Cutting

Water jet cutting, also know as a waterjet, is a process capable of cutting a wide variety of materials. Waterjet is like it sounds, it is a high-pressure jet of water, or a mixture of water and an abrasive media.

Waterjet is often used during the fabrication of machine parts. It is useful when the materials being cut are sensitive to the high temperatures of other cutting methods. Waterjet is used in a variety of industries, including mining and aerospace, for cutting, shaping, and reaming.

Here at Stratus, we recently became a supplier for the abrasives and replacement parts used with waterjet equipment. Call us today to learn more about the waterjet supplies we carry for our customers.
