SCHMIDT PORTABLE ABRASIVE BLASTERS​

Schmidt abrasive blasting systems feature efficient piping designed to provide the industry’s lowest pressure drop. For each drop in pressure of just 1 psi at the blast nozzle, a blasting system loses 1 1/2% in productivity, so minimizing pressure drop is important. Schmidt systems are low maintenance for reduced downtime. They’re designed with a low profile for easier filling and ample wheel clearance for greater stability when the system is in use.

 

Systems are available with an optional loading skid that provides protection for valves and piping, and allows for easier handling and transport to the job site.

 

Schmidt systems are the industry’s safest designs possible, with normally closed, fail-safe valves and controls for greater safety and performance.
Available in 125 (standard) or 150 psi systems.

SCHMIDT PRECISION MEDIA BLASTERS​

​

The Schmidt Precision Media Blaster (PMB) is a highly flexible system used for wet or dry blasting. Blast pressure on the PMB is fully adjustable, and the blaster can use a wide range of media including sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), aluminum oxide, plastic, glass beads and even steel grit. A cone-shaped bottom and media vibrator ensure an even, uninterrupted flow of abrasive, regardless of media type. With the PMB, an operator can clean a surface of grease and oil, remove one layer of paint or strip off paint down to the substrate in one easy step.

SCHMIDT ACCUSTRIP SYSTEM SODA BLASTERS​

Schmidt Accustrip System soda blasters are designed for use with ARMEX sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) blast media. These environmentally friendly systems can be used on virtually any surface: brick, limestone, concrete, granite, metal, glass and tiles.

 

Accustrip System blasters are ideal for general maintenance cleaning; cleaning machinery and equipment in food processing, pulp and paper, and other industrial plants; architectural cleaning of monuments and statues, brick and stone; graffiti removal, paint removal, and one-step cleaning and deodorizing after fire and smoke damage. ARMEX media is nontoxic, nonhazardous and non-sparking.
